Velo Vosges Challenge  October 2008  
Velo Vosges Challenge - Not So-ffit team

The Velo Vosges Challenge was a three day ride over 500 miles cycled in relay.  It started in Arras, near the English Channel, on Friday 3rd October and finished in the fairytale village of Riquewihr on Sunday 5th October. 

Elliotts Premier Roofing team, Not So-ffit, consisted of Kim Slattery, Ray Smith, Paul Stubbington and Pete Smith.   They raised £ 2200.00, 50% of that was shared between Cancer Research UK and Wessex Heartbeat and the other half went to their chosen charity which was The Mayors Appeal 2008/2009 - in support of two local charities, The Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity and Vitalise, Waterside House, Netley Abbey.   
 
Well done to the Not So-ffit team.

Derek Pretty - Mayor of Eastleigh

Derek is Contracts Director at Elliotts Premier Roofing and has been a member of Hedge End Parish and Town Councils since 1990 and Eastleigh Borough Council since 2002.

He was elected at the Mayor Making Ceremony held in the Civic Offices, Eastleigh on 8th May 2008.  As Mayor his charities for the year are The Countess Mountbatten Hospice and Vitalise.  Both are very worthwhile local causes and if anyone feels able to make a donation to either of these charities please contact Derek.
